NeuroLogica Corp. said today that one of its medical imaging devices, the CereTom portable CT scanner, will now be available in Canada.
The Danvers company said today that the CereTom has received the Canadian Medical License, an approval that will allow the entry of the device into hospitals, clinics, and medical offices throughout Canada.
The CereTom has already been installed in 30 hospitals and medical centers in the United States and Europe, including Massachusetts General Hospital, the company said.
Getting Canadian approval "is a major accomplishment for our company, and it will allow us to further our mission of bringing greater access globally to quality, mobile neuro-imaging," company president Eric Bailey said in a statement. |
